Daniel Quare, London, 1690

Description: Gilt brass, verge fusee movement (top plate 43.7mm, 10.6mm between plates) with Tompion regulator, D-shaped cock-foot with small diameter cock. Featuring Egyptian pillars, lacking dial plate, motion work, dial and hands. The manufacture of the movement shows, that it was constructed with hour and minute hand (to the contrary of the other watch by Quare of 1680).
